Our National Guard is needed NOW to protect peaceful protestors! Call now!!
Our National Guard is needed on our soil NOW!!! Police are beating peaceful protestors over the head! They are showing this on TV!! These are non violent people! Get our National Guard to Occupy Wall Street to protect the protestors. Contact Debby Wasserman's chief of staff via the number below! She is the democratic spokesperson. Start calling...we need them there NOW! This message is from a former New Hampshire state official...then call the Governor of New York, to put them on the ground. Contact Governor Andrew Cuomo's office by phone at(518) 474-8390 or email him at http://www.governor.ny.gov/contact/GovernorContactForm.php

Occupy Wall Street/ and anywhere else in the U.S. (Please send this to everyone who you may think would respond to this message.)

I am writing this to ask everyone who supports what needs to be done with our economy who is not able to be part of the occupy Wall St., or anywhere else in the country, to call the head of the Democratic Party and make their wishes known. I believe that the President should be calling out the National Guard in all States to PROTECT the non violent protestors that are supporting this cause. They cannot find work, and they have no future. This is evident from all those that have graduated from college with no hope of a job or something less than their parents might have earned, nevermind those that have worked so hard without a college degree. I URGE everyone who supports this message to call the chief of staff of U. S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz at 305-458-5557 and ask her to demand that the President ensure the safety of those protesting in N.Y. or anywhere else in the country by demanding the National Guard in each State do what is necessary to protect all those trying to represent their First Amenment rights of freedom of speech and not allow them to be arrested, detained, or beaten & abused by the local police.

This could be you,or you children or grandchildren, being beaten by the local police... would you do nothing less? Please act now before this becomes another WATTS!

Thank you for supporting the First Amendment rights, the future for our young people, and the future for our nation.

2. I think their job for a long time has been to protect
the property of businesses and the wealthy. I doubt if protecting poor students and the unemployed from our civil servants would be on the agenda of the governors who mobilize them.

4. They have nothing to do with mobilizing.
That takes a higher command like the governor or even the President.

LATHAM, N.Y. (8/26/11) – At the direction of Gov. If necessary, 12,466 Airmen and Soldiers with more than 680 vehicles; 16 Army National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters and four CH-47 Chinook helicopters; along with 10 C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft and six HH-60 Pave Hawk rescue helicopters assigned to the Air National Guard are ready to respond if called upon.

The plan the National Guard is executing at the direction of the governor calls for 230 Soldiers and Airmen to station themselves with high-axle vehicles and high-tech satellite communications equipment and chain saws at the Farmingdale Armed Forces Reserve Center no later than Saturday evening.

11. I never said the governor couldn't. I said, would he though?
I think he's more interested in protecting the interests of Wall Street and ownership class.

7. Read it again...post says to call the governor...
and wasserman as the democratic spokesperson, to speak out. How democratic is it for law enforcement to beat up peaceful, law abiding citizens???

10. Well it's not democratic but it's done.
Last time the National Guard was called out to manage student protests, a few innocents got shot.
