Santorum was pro family during tonights debate while Ron Paul was for the individual.
Does this mean the traditional GOP will be pro family (social/wedge issues) while the tea party will be libertarian? Is this divide something the democrats can capitalize on?

3. Nope, it means that Santorum was having family difficulties at this time.
His young daughter had just had surgery for something. Of course had it been anyone else's child, he would not have given a rats ass.

wedge issues he is using.

6. He says he's pro family. We all know he is hateful. The point is his platform
is pro family so he, like the rest of the traditional gop, can use 'social' issues as wedges. So they can get people to vote against their own best interest. So rich people will have even more. So middle class and working class people will have less. Of course his policies are anti family and anti american and anti humanity. My point was that he has staked out the family meme. The tea party has staked out the individual meme. How can democrats help the difference grow?

8. NO, there is no divide!
Ron Paul is not for the individual when you look at what he really wants to do...He claims he is for individual freedoms but in realty he is for individual freedom for STATES! He thinks States should not be bound to comply with the 14th Amendment like it was before the Civil War so that States could set up Christian Theocracies!

Ron Paul is for individual freedoms when it comes to Federal Law but NOT when it comes to State Law...This is what most Ron Paul supporters can't get into their think skulls!
