What have Republicans done for African-Americans lately? |
|
It's "racist" for 95% of Blacks to vote for Obama? They're "brainwashed" for doing so?
Bullshit.
Why should any kind of Black person (or ANY other sane person, for that matter) ever vote for any Republican in this day and age?
Notice that people like Cain never want to answer that question without replying with their standard line of bull.

2. Republicans haven't done a damn thing for African-Americans since the Emancipation Proclamation |
|
And they joined the forces of open racism in 1876, when they made a deal with the Southerners who used to call themselves "Democrats" to end Reconstruction and allow those Southerners to create Jim Crow, simply in the name of keeping a Republican in the White House after a corrupted election result.
If the GOP after Lincoln had ever really cared about black voters, it would have passed the Anti-Lynching Law in the 1920's, when it held the presidency and overwhelming majorities in both chambers of Congress.

5. The Civil RIghts Act of 1964 |
|
House of Representatives: Democrats for: 152 Democrats against: 96 Republicans for: 138 Republicans against: 34
Senate: Democrats for: 46 Democrats against: 21 Republicans for: 27 Republicans against: 6
But then the racist dems changed parties and took over the republican party.
