I don't think much of Rick Perry but he showed a lot of restraint when Romney put his hand on his shoulder. Remember the criticism Gore got for "invading the space" of George W Bush and he didn't even touch him?
The media is depicting Romney's performance as gutsy and tough in the face of adversity. I think he was smirky and arrogant. "Mom, he's not playing fair!" Whiny little spoiled bastard. Just my opinion.

Of course MSM is going to now portray moderate Mitt as the typical ReThug pseudo-tough guy.
Anybody who's paid any attention at all knows this isn't true.
If you gave Romney an enema, you could bury him in a matchbox. (credit, Christopher Hitchens).

6. I also want to vomit looking at Romney |

I can't decide if Romney best resembles.
a) A space alien's botched attempt of an archetypical US President b) A broken wind-up robot that stutters c) A washed up, desperate infomercial actor

8. I do not support any Republican but Romney did show he was |
|
no pushover and he would stand up for himself. At some point Romney had to stand up to those coming at him. To have stood their and showed no emotion would have killed his chances. When people are screaming Leadership this is what they are talking about. He had to show he could street fight as well as the next person and he would be no pushover.
Why is touching his shoulder such a whatever. This is what a lot of people do in real life.
The culture in America has changed. Confrontation is the accepted norm.
This does not mean I am saying this is good or this is bad, rather it is what is.

9. These Republican debates have |
|
become a show of school yard bullies daring and double-dog daring the other to come up with something that makes sense. And it will never happen. People like Chucky Toady act as if it is something real.
