16 Signs That Your City Has Become A Hellhole
So what are cities doing to make ends meet? Well, one big trend that we are now witnessing is that many U.S. cities have been getting rid of huge numbers of employees.

If you can believe it, 72 percent of all U.S. cities are laying workers off this year.

Social services and essential infrastructure programs are also being savagely cut back in many areas of the country. The cold, hard truth is that most of our cities are flat broke and things are going to get even worse in the years ahead.

4. Fast track to third world nation, some are already there. We continue to use
19th and 20th century solutions for the 21st century. I guess we just don't shower enough money on the poor banksters, wall street and the poor wealthy corporations. This will take years to correct, but given the current methodologies and the political climate nothing will happen. The system is broken. The country is so broken, and many are making huge profits off of it ...

6. Yes, but even in a freeper cesspool one can find jewels among the shit.
Just as even in bastions of Democratic sensibility one can smell the telltale aroma of corporate bullshit.
