"The Heith of Hypocrisy" sayeth Rick Perry... |
|
Did I hear right? Did Rick Perry say to Mitt Romney that his immigration stance is "the HEITH of hypocrisy?" Okay, maybe I'm being an English language elitist, but someone who is grandstanding about American purism should at least know how to pronounce English words.
So let me just say to Rick, in addition to the above (and I quote the great English-language speaker Stewie Griffin):
Anyone using the words “irregardless,” “a whole nother,” or “all of the sudden” will be taken to work camps.
I will also add using the word HEITH instead of HEIGHT... :banghead:

1. I've heard "heighth" used on some diy shows on TV. Bugs the hell out of me. On the other hand, |

"a whole nother" is a regionalism I've heard, and used, all my life. I give regionalism a pass.

Ha ha...I've heard that a lot, too. I think that Stewie Griffin can be a bit snobbish at times. :-)

3. I heard it too. Leaped out at me. |

Yes, I too am an English language elitist. Especially with Right Wing Assholes.
