Rosie saw the clip on youtube and flew him to Chicago for her new show on OWN. Her fan base is middle-aged women. I am glad she is back on tv and no longer politically controlled by rightwinger Barbara Walters.

DU is a political website. My post was about furthering the OWS movement and I don't give a shit what or who you watch.

Rosie has a large following of a certain demographic who generally get their news from network tv so when Rosie has on someone like Shamar she reaches a whole new audience - a part of the population that needs to be brought in.

Maybe you have a national audience of not-yet-connecting citizens that you can influence. If so please give us your info so we can follow you and I will apologize for saying I don't give a shit about your personal peccadilloes.

Rosie is a very good Democrat and her show is one of the ways that OUR message gets out. Here is a link to her political contributions of about $200,000.
