New York Cops Get Another Black Eye

There's no way to look at the video of Naomi Klein being arrested without wondering how a high-ranking police officer could be so ignorant of the law. Klein calmly informs him that there's no law against being on the sidewalk, but the bozo persists in his mistaken claim that he has given a lawful order. White shirts are there on the scene to supervise the ordinary street cops, presumably for their greater experience and knowledge of the law.

There's no two ways about it - this cop sounds like a bozo because he is a bozo. Apparently it doesn't take much gray matter to make rank in the Police Department in New York. At least the cops didn't use pepper spray or push Naomi Klein to the ground.
