In-tea-llectual: "there is both good and bad in assassinating the president"

Proud TeaMericun, Tenth Amendment Center writer and author of The Nature of Individualism Edward Browning Bosley is a problem-solver. One problem he apparently chose to solve was the conundrum of how to advocate for the President's assassination in a way that offers the author a form of plausible deniability.

By applying good old-fashioned American ingenuity to the problem, Bosley quickly came up with a solution: write a long rambling semi-coherent paragraph about the desirability of whacking the President, then use strike-through to distance yourself from your own words.

For example, he writes:

As much as the violence is condemned I can't help but think how much Obama really does deserve some of this...there is both good and bad in assassinating the president or any elected official.

And then distances himself from his words by striking out the text, like this:

As much as the violence is condemned I can't help but think how much Obama really does deserve some of this...there is both good and bad in assassinating the president or any elected official.

Here's a screencap of the full post:

1. In a just world
This great pillock would be explaining his incitement to violence to a judge and jury in preparation for a long stay at the Graybar Hotel.

Some people need to be institutionalized for their own safety and the safety of others.

8. This is horrible
Striking the words out doesn't change the content. He equates the President of the United States with Hitler, and is openly discussing assassinating him.

What the hell is wrong with this country, when we have these blowhards that wind people up so far that they think discussing assassination of ANY elected official, much less the POTUS, is a perfectly normal conversation? It's not - it's insanity. It's even worse that political discourse has gone SO FAR that people blame every single thing on one person?

If the right wants to know why we have so much government overreach, maybe they need to look in the mirror. They were the cheering section when it was a Republican doing it, and that's when all this crap started. Now they have buyer's remorse because a Democratic president is office. Campaign to change the damn laws - none of us are particularly thrilled about the loss of our civil liberties, and for some of us, it doesn't change just because the letter following the name of a politician changes. But don't sit there and advocate murdering elected officials just because you don't like the fact that they aren't a Republican.

And yes, the FBI should be visiting this nut job, because he is openly advocating murdering elected officials because they aren't from his political "team". That's insanity.
