The constant pound-poumd-pounding of "Well, they've got a point... probably, but I wish
they'd let the rest of us know what it is." is an easy mindless "reaction" (in this case... as
in "reactionary") for folks who aren't really paying attention to the real world around them.

I heard THIS one yesterday from someone who is otherwise a fairly nice person (obviously
another "talking point reaction"):

A mindset that was EASILY changed (and that change graciously accepted by the person
who voiced that drivel).

My theory (and I think I just coined this) is that the media has become ruled by its "id".
