2. I remember the first commercial

I saw an African American child. I was a kid myself and it was for Drake's Cakes.

... showing black and white post- adolescents being used as cannon fodder in vicious, wasteful, unjust foreign military "adventures"?

MLK was every bit as determined to put an end to that as he was to racial inequality and hostility.
