Bachmann’s N.H. Staff Quits En Masse
Michele Bachmann’s New Hampshire campaign team has called it quits, leaving he GOP hopeful without paid staff in the state that holds the first-in-the-nation presidential primary.

The news was first reported by ABC affiliate WMUR, and was quickly confirmed by Reuters. In total, roughly a half dozen paid staffers resigned en masse out of frustration with the campaign or, as WMUR puts it, because they felt “constantly betrayed and even lied to.”

The staff, however, stressed that they are still fans of Bachmann and that they had considered leaving earlier this year but stuck around out of loyalty to the congresswoman.

The departures are the latest in a string for the Minnesota Republican’s presidential campaign, which appears to have peaked at the exact moment she won an Iowa straw poll this summer before promptly falling out of favor with many Republican voters and, subsequently, the media.

"Constantly betrayed and even lied to" but "stressed that they are still fans of Bachmann." Okaaaaay...

3. I hope she sticks around for a while
Watching her and Herman "Uncle Ruckus" Cain try and top each other in the "who can say the craziest shit" challenge is rather amusing.

4. "They had considered leaving earlier"
But yeah, go now when the Bachmann campaign can't possibly be hurt by the mass defection.

5. Goodness. I wonder if this phenomenon will repeat itself

For other GOP candidates?

I certainly hope so!

8. "still fans of Bachmann" but I guess they'll worship her from afar.
Wow, we still think she's great even though we've been "constantly betrayed and even lied to." I mean, what's not to admire?

9. Oh, Bachmann shouldn't worry -- NH is just a small state.
