Bachmann staff quits en masse...not paid for over 1 month
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2011/10/fed-up-bachmann-staff-unpaid-for-a-month-candidate-caught-unaware-of-departures/

Rep. Michele Bachmann said she was surprised to hear that her entire New Hampshire campaign staff had quit en masse today, even though they “had not been paid for a month,” one of the departing staffers told ABC News.

Hours after initial reports of the mass exodus, Bachmann told Iowa Radio this afternoon that she was unaware that her staff had quit and said the reports were not true.

“That is a shocking story to me,” the Minnesota congresswoman said. “I don’t know where that came from. We have called staff in New Hampshire to find out where that came from and the staff have said that isn’t true, so I don’t know if this is just a bad story that’s being fed by a different candidate or campaign. I have no idea where this came from, but we’ve made calls and it’s certainly not true.”

But a staffer confirmed to ABC News that they had indeed quit.

5. If they quit after not being paid for a month, do they qualify for unemployment in NH?

14. It depends on how long they have been working.
If someone just works a month they will not qualify for unemployment unless they have work credits from before that job. Quitting for lack of pay will not disqualify you for unemployment anyplace.

25. Yes.
Quitting because you were receiving no pay is considered a justifiable reason to quit by any state employment department.

11. Fiscal responsibility for everyone else!!!!
"The departures are the latest in a string of high-profile exits from the campaign and do not bode well for a candidate who spent more money than she raised in the most recent quarter, according to FEC filings released last week."

Oh damn!!!

26. She needs to say something really crazy to keep the money coming in
Although all eight Republican candidates are certifiably insane, Michelle Bachmann has been upstaged in recent times in the crazy department. She needs to come up with a real satanic "6-6-6" plan that isn't just a "9-9-9-" plan turned upside down. She needs to talk about electrocuting people or executing people and having a great night's sleep after every execution. She needs to talk about letting poor uninsured people die. In other words, she just isn't helping Republicans to get and keep their erections up, the way the other candidates have lately been doing.

30. The wealthy just don't get it that other people have bills to pay
and food to buy and by the time most Americas get that taken care of there isn't any money left for the next months' expenses, so, duh, they need a pay check ever month.

Bachmann's rich let her cut them their checks.

34. She relied too much on small donations
While her campaign collected a large amount of money from numerous small donors, the cost in collecting that money was high.
