"Arabs are infiltrating their money into our system."
From another message board, stupidest anti-Arab comment I've seen in weeks:

(Post follows)

A curious thing happened today.

This morning I was in the midst of my early transport, and due to a couple of
passengers staying home I had time to stop for a coffee to go and a paper.

The cup of coffee and the paper at a local 7-11 was $2.70.

I handed the clerk three single dollar bills, and she gave me back what I
thought was a quarter and a nickel change.

Around 2:pm when I make my first pick-up I was waiting for the passenger to
walk up and climb in and I happened to put my hands in my pockets.

I felt the change in the one pocket and pulled it out, sort of surprised as I
usually take change out of my pocket when I arrive home, and put it in a
holder that facilitates the making of change rolls. Whe each slot gets full I
get out a paper roll for that coin and make a roll out of it.

There was two coins, a nickel and what I *thought* was a quarter, but it
looked strange. I put my reading glasses on and looked at it a bit closely,
thinking it was a quarter with a state logo I hadn't seen before.

To my surprise, it is not an American coin at all, but a coin that is almost
(but not quite) the size of a quarter, and it says *United Arab Emirates* on
one side, with some indecipherable Arabic symbols over that.

On the other side there is what looks like a mid-eastern\type pitcher with
Arabic words under that.

I'm torn between taking it back to the 7-11 I got it from and demanding a real
quarter for it, or keeping it as proof that Arabs are infiltrating their money
into our system.

1. What makes this idiotic post worth repeating?
He's a random dumbass, apparently. Is this somehow a commentary of a larger problem in your community?

3. It is a larger commentary on a section of muricans.
They tend to be the ones who've never travelled.

4. "pitcher"
Does more need to be said?

Well, we can talk about the billions of dollars in oil money that the Arab countries use to Buy America, or we can fuss about a misplaced coin instead.

11. They could say the same thing.
When Bush was nominated oil was $10 per barrel. In the year Bush left, oil briefly hit $150 per barrel. The US was infiltrating loads of money into the UAE.

12. Coffee pot not a 'pitcher' lol
You scored it is worth marginally mire than a quarter. Exchange rate is fixed at 3.67 to the dollar. Might be my fault. I sometimes use these in america just for fun... When I am home.

13. I was just gonna say that
Sometimes dirhams get mixed up with American dollars in my wallet. They are the same size. I actually do wonder if one of us was the unwitting culprit.
