Occupy Cleveland protesters arrested
Occupy Cleveland has conducted its protest in downtown Cleveland for more than two weeks, without any major incidents.

But Friday night, the protest squared off with police, as NewsChannel5 crews saw five people get arrested at about 11 p.m. One of the people arrested was a woman in a Santa hat. As of 10 p.m. Friday, Occupy Cleveland's "Green Space" permit expired.

The group has been located on Public Square, living in small tents, protesting against Wall Street and what it calls "corporate greed."

Cleveland Chief of Staff Ken Silliman explained earlier in the day that Occupy Cleveland must have tents removed from all "green space" by 10 p.m., with all tents permanently removed on Saturday morning.
