21. Thank you for this
I cringed at myself when that was my first reaction upon scrolling down. Thanks for beating me to it - I don't feel so shallow now.

:D

3. Yes, but, does she shower effectively?

Some of the OWS people may shower everyday, but many of them fail to follow proper showering procedures.

For example, I've heard that instead of "lather, rinse, repeat" as clearly printed on most shampoo bottles, many of the OWS types merely lather and rinse, but do NOT repeat as they are supposed to.

And don't even get me started on loofahs.

instead of my conditioner and didn't want to waste the shampoo.

and you know

i dont see the difference.

but i tried....

being the fiscally conservative person i am, i oppose waste and into saving money.

19. Sixty is the New Fifty, which was the New Forty, which was..Well, you get the idea
Seriously, though,

You've heard of Botox, dermal fillers, facelifts, even?

Good for her, however she's able to do it!

6. I wouldn't bother to answer any accusations that the
99% don't shower. The critics have nothing worth saying, nothing worth hearing, and so are resorting to that tired old canard.

Ignore them. They ignored us, so they deserve it.

13. It took me a minute, too
Daughters of the American Revolution - http://www.dar.org/ - considered to be quite conservative which is why I've never had any interest in joining despite my eligibility.

20. I love that she included that on the sign
I am eligible too (on my Dad's side, apparently), but always thought it was a snoot fest. At least what I know about it.

I applaud her for thinking to put that on the sign!

24. I agree
both about the snoot fest and putting it on the sign. It gives her (and the movement) an added level of legitimacy (not that she should need it but there's should and then there is reality). I use it sometimes when writing to various elected officials, especially when I'm writing about immigration. I also throw in some pretty heavy duty more recent military history in my family when appropriate (multiple five star generals including a member of the joint chiefs of staff). I don't care all that much but it makes my message harder to dismiss (not that Kyl and McCain don't flip me the bird, anyway!).

17. At FOX they still believe
Bathing and Showering should be done once a month. Everyone knows that bathing is EVIL! It allows the evil spirits to enter into the pores of your skin and affect your brain!!!! :sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm::sarcasm:

Fortunately, the Japanese know a good deal about bathing... mmmmmmmm what I wouldn't give for a large tub right now instead of my stingy little shower.
