It's begun for the GOP, with voter ID laws. |
|
As in wanting to amend them to pander to groups.
Our state congressasshole, Joe Leibham, who keeps whining about voter fraud he can't find, wants to give a voter ID exemption to anyone here in Wisconsin, if they are 65 or older.
It's nothing but pandering to the AARP demographic.
What makes 65 the "magic age" for Leibham?

2. What a load of horseshit. They may as well just do it by fingerprint ID. |

Really--why issue a "Voter ID" when everyone has one--their frigging FINGER. It's a waste of money and resources to gin up an ID card, hire people to make them, send them out, take the pictures, etc.
Just come up with a fingerprint reader--put your finger on the glass, and PRESTO--they know it's you. No need to carry a card around. IF they even feel that they NEED voter ID cards.
Really, we're going that way anyway, might as well make it decisive.
I live in a state where there is no voter ID required. You simply have to know where the hell you live, and you can vote, if you are registered.

4. When you get a military ID, they scan your fingerprint into the |

garbage on the back, so that it can be compared to you if need be. The photo on the front is also digitized in the garbage on the back as well, along with all the data. It's an anti-forgery thing.

5. We have a voter ID law on the ballot |
|
here in Mississippi this year. It's part of the teabagger 'final solution' power grab. The Republicans have to prevent people from voting. That, along with voter apathy, is the only way they can win.
