What exactly, is "the donald's" agenda? He talks with Perry for a |

few, now Perry is parroting the "birther" nonsense? He likes to lunch/dinner-date the candidates, is he interviewing them? Is he looking for a VP spot? Is he trying to see if they're worthy of the candidacy in case he may have to step in? I honestly don't know if he's had lunch/dinner with the Mitt or not. Very curious..

1. Publicity. Spell his name right, get his face in the news. |
|
Heaven forfend he should have to PAY for his own hideous, excessive self-promotion. The man is a pig--no offense to pigs.

2. I would think The Donald and Birtherism is the LAST place Rick would want to be spending time now. |
|
After running his candidacy straight into the ditch by going full redneck instead of being the "business friendly multiple term governor of a gigantic GOP stronghold state" and practically letting Romney claim the nomination by simply not wetting his pants in public, he's going to talk about Obama's birth certificate?
There really is no curing stupid.

5. I agree with you except for one thing: |
|
Perry knows that the lowest, weakest, most ignorant part of his party will love this. And there are a lot of them. But yes, he looks like the moron he is with this association.

9. Thing is, he HAD them already just by being a Southern Fundie and not Mormon. |
|
He lost them to Cain because of acting like a stupid redneck and making a fool of himself, not by not being redneck or birther ENOUGH.
His only hope of salvaging his campaign, and, sadly, I think he still has some small hope just by virtue of his office and money, is by trying, belatedly, to act like a credible and rational leader before actual primary voting begins.

3. So weird how easily the GOP is co-opted. Trump, Palin, Cain, Bachmann, Norquist, Tea Party, etc. |
|
None of them care about the GOP, they just care about selling their brand. Pathetic. That's what happens when a party has no principles except to be Anti-Everything.
