Bachmann’s N.H. Staff Didn’t Resign — They Just Left
Not only did Michele Bachmann’s entire New Hampshire staff bail on her campaign last week, it appears they left without even saying goodbye.

Despite denials from Bachmann herself on Friday, NBC’s campaign embed Jamie Novogrod has confirmed the departures and says he received an email Saturday from Bachmann’s campaign spokeswoman saying she hadn’t even heard from them.

is that anyone took the candidacy of a certifiable loon seriously.

I suppose if Michele Bachmann or Sarah Palin or Herman Cain or any number of other of these characters were not politicians at all - but just neighbors who happened to live next door - I might think that they were reasonably nice people with some very goofy ideas about the world - kind of like my Aunt Betty - but they - unlike my Aunt Betty - entered the world of politics and unknown to them were way out of the depth and consequently started causing problems. Because they really shouldn't be in politics either for their own sake or the sake of the world around them

5. Isn't this about the third time her campaign staff has quit?
Or am I mixing her up with another GOP candidate whose entire campaign staff walked out?

8. She's a typical rich Republican who thinks paying people is optional
and that they should suck it up when she doesn't and kiss her feet when she does.

I'll bet she can't keep household staff, either.

13. If I hadn't actually experienced this a few times in real life, I almost wouldn't...
...believe you. But it is a bizarre phenomenon I have dealt with and it sort of defies reasonable explanation.

She'd be a joy to deal with, psychotic personalities like Bachmann can make for interesting employers.

18. So, where do her supporters go when she's gone?
Yes, I know there aren't a lot left, but they would add a couple of percentage points to another candidate.

I'm essentially certain that none of them will go to Mittens, and any who would go to Perry have already had a chance to jump ship on her. My bet is that they go to Cain. I really think there's a shot of him winning the Iowa caucuses, the same way Huckersterbee (with a flat tax plan) did four years ago.

21. Well that is NOT really true

SNIP

Rep. Michele Bachmann seems to have lost her entire campaign staff in New Hampshire, but if her workers resigned, they seemed to neglected telling her. The Bachmann campaign’s former New Hampshire campaign director, Jeff Chidester, confirmed the resignations as Rep. Bachmann herself denied them, leading to more speculation as to the future of the Bachmann campaign.

SNIP

Chidester broke the news with the Manchester, New Hampshire Union Leader, which the newspaper dubbed a “mutiny” in the campaign. He told the paper he had resigned last week, and that he was one of at least four in New Hampshire who felt the national Bachmann campaign machine had been too frustrating a system for them to work within. At press time for the Union Leader, a spokesman for the Bachmann campaign claimed they had not been notified anyone was leaving.

SNIP

Speaking to CBS, Chidester noted that he had notified people he believed were close to the candidate a week ago, and noted it would be “unfortunate” if they had not relayed the news. ....

25. It is a matter of reading about 'all the facts' from BOTH sides.
The link you proved stated: " ... Despite denials from Bachmann herself on Friday, NBC’s campaign embed Jamie Novogrod has confirmed the departures and says he received an email Saturday from Bachmann’s campaign spokeswoman saying she hadn’t even heard from them."
---

That only says that 'the campaign spokeswoman hadn't even heard from them'
that doesn't mean that some 'other' people that the guy (in the article link I posted) talked about didn't hear from them.

There is nothing in the embedded video that addresses the point of who heard from the folks that resigned and who didn't.

Apparently the folks in the embedded video didn't know the WHOLE story.

22. Can't remember woman's name involved in 2000 Florida stolen election.
Anyway, she ran for Senate later, her campaign staff left, and Bachmann reminds me of her. Both nuts.

I don't normally think of volunteers as needing to resign as it's not like she was paying them.

The entire paid New Hampshire staff for Republican presidential candidate Michele Bachmann has resigned, in another blow to the Minnesota congresswoman's foundering campaign.
