Every time I get into a discussion about the increasing imbalances in our society, I refer to that first graph, which shows an accelerated distance between worker productivity and wages. All of that extra wealth created by more efficient labor is going somewhere, and since wages as adjusted for inflation are actually declining, it's not going to the people responsible for making it.
It usually either ends the conversation or directs it into more useful channels, and away from the "job creators" and "the wealthy deserve everything they have" nonsense.
