NEIL YOUNG - THIS NOTES FOR YOU.
VIDEO

This used to be called integrity. That's been obliterated and corrupted by money and other forms of lust. In the music business. what credible artist would have ever seriously considered lending his or her music to a commercial? Today there are virtually no artists that don't. The Neil Young video for "This Note's For You" (rare in its unedited state, below) was actually totally banned by MTV before popular pressure forced them to start running it. Much to the chagrin of many MTV executives, it won MTV's 1989 Best Video of the Year on their award show.

1. I love Neil Young
and last night I watched on tv a tribute concert with all different artists doing Neil Young songs. Elton John was one of them.

I was surprised because the concert IMO sucked. Apparently Neil Young songs are only cool when sung by Neil Young. Very dissappointed.

2. Great video! I saw Neil live yesterday at the Bridge School Benefit.
Awesome show at a sold out Shoreline Amphitheater.

3. I saw it on Saturday (livestream)
but couldn't make it there this year. I adore Neil and Eddie Vedder. My daughter was bummed about not seeing Arcade Fire. How were the Foos?

5. Foo Fighters were great! I was there mainly to see Arcade Fire.
Arcade Fire are my favorite band. I cannot get enough of them. They are amazing live!

I enjoyed the whole show though, including Tony Bennett. Dave Mathews was awesome too!

we saw Tony the year that Paul McCartney was there. Some great moments then.
