Pattern is emerging
First Frum tells us that Krugman was right...now we have joe admit the republican candidates are crazy...and this is today. The fracture between the know nothing's and the normals might have started....

If this is the case the GOP convention will be ammusing and not quite the top billing either.

10. I thought Moxie was on the left and Spunk was on the right?
I could be wrong.

4. We'll see
If Frum and Scarborough don't get taken to the allegorical woodshed and their comments are allowed to stand uncontradicted, this could be a new wrinkle developing. But if they make their "bold" statements of the painfully obvious on Monday and walk them back by Wednesday with Karl Rove jerking their leashes, we're just in for more of the same from the Nitwit Brigade.

12. I was thinking that the old line gop might try to get some hereto
unannounced candidate nominated who was at least sane. Unless they are truly giving up in 2012.

13. Remember Lincoln was offered in the 1860
Election after the Whigs didn't even caucus in 1856. We might be seeing early steps of something similar.

15. Like Lincoln it will be somebody we have not heard off
For the most part. And if the process is similar it will peel off the RW of the democrats, many who were in the GOP and the left of the GOP.

17. Lincoln didn't just appear out of nowhere in 1860
He had gained nationwide fame in 1858 through his 7 debates with Stephen Douglas, which were first printed in newspapers and then compiled into a book.
