Rachel is so funny! She's covering Cain's obsession with numerology and # 45. |
|
Freaking hilarious! Herman Cain sees "45" in everything. She's mocking him playfully, too.

1. She does everything with class |
|
I don't recall the rightwinger she had on last year, but he turned the interview into a name-calling low moment. Rachel apologized and said something like, I'm sorry you chose to answer in this fashion, let me reply in kind...and she hit him right between the eyes with truth and he could not come back with a reply. She gave a knock-out blow to someone used to being on Faux news and getting away with being a punk.
I watch her show now in the hope of seeing a repeat performance. She has never let me down.

I did see the time she had that Teabagger right-wing guy running for congress, and he made a total ass of himself. Wouldn't even acknowledge his own statements.

She never sinks to the level of people who say horrible things, but she always stands up to them. I remember when she had an anti-gay type person on. She absolutely leveled him with his own words, and wouldn't let him get away with saying he didn't advocate what he was clearly advocating in his book. He fumed and ranted, but she was cool as a cucumber.

4. Sometime, do a youtube search for Obama 444 |
|
What you'll find a small tip of an iceberg of cultural weirdness. The narrative is that 666 follows Obama 444. Cain is branding himself 999 right off the bat, to avoid.
I did a little homework into Cain, I guess he was a math major, a ballistics guy (see movie Top Secret Rosies for interesting historical perspective into this group of military mathematicians) and a computer science grad (basically another branch of math). As a numbers guy myself, I relate to having weird personal relations with numbers, it actually raises my respect for Cain. But I went to a shrink one time to address my own, she said if it wasn't strongly effecting life decisions, I was okay. But I have to ask, knowing Cain put forth a plan that raises taxes for most people with lower incomes, branded as '999': It is effecting his??? Because something has got to give there, he seems like an otherwise smart guy...

6. Wonder if he likes the Beatles' "number 9" tune |
|
And I like 9 because when you do the 9 multiplication, the answer adds up to nine 1 x 9 = 9 2 x 9 = 18 (1+8=9) 3 x 9 = 27 (2+7=9). Etc
12x 9= 108 = 9

8. that isn't really numerology, but it does appear to be an obsession with 45 |
|
If it were really numerology it would always break down to a single digit, in this case 9. There are special numbers that are double 22 being one, but it is still a 4 in the end.

10. I was using Rachel's expression of "numerology", and she did mention |
|
that his obsession with 45 equals 9, as in 999 plan.
She was very entertaining, as usual.
