What does everybody think of Politifact |
They seem to be pretty fair/evenhanded IMHO (most of the things they've judged to be lies come from Republicans), however, I'm not sure I quite understand how they can label some of President Obama's promises as being "broken" (today's "broken" promise being failing to assist Iraqi refugees) yet since he still has at least two more years (hopefully more) left in his term. Also, for some reason, the pictures of President Obama's that they use on the "Obamameter" just strike me as being somewhat, I don't know, silly. Thoughts? Opinions?

1. They have jumped the gun on a few of the promises they rated broken over the past week. |
Politifact's most recent three 'promise broken' shouldn't have been. The three recent ratings were on promises that 'within the promise' Obama did NOT state a time frame. I have been upset with Politifact the past few days for doing so and I also emailed them and told them I how felt. I hope other folks will email them too, then maybe they will take a new look at 'em.
