Does anyone know of a good podcast reader/podcatcher...
that I can use on my desktop/laptop. I run Windows 7 and the browser I use is Chrome. I have always used Google reader which is just fine for catching and updating podcasts, but it does not have a playlist option(not that I can find anyway). I simple want to be able to let them play, I listen to multiple 60 Second pods and it becomes difficult to do anything while I am listening becasue I need to keep pressing play on each one. Thanks!

1. Yes, gPodder for Windows. Free, open-Source, and runs rings around Google Reader...

3. Does it play the pods or just aggregate them.
From the quick read I did on wiki it seems like I need another player. I might be wrong.

5. Sorry for that, yes you do need a separate player for gPodder...
they rec. Pannuci, which works fine for me (and is linked on their home page).

But you are correct, my bad. gPodder is an aggregator, not a player.

4. I am looking for one that both collects them and plays them.
On my phone I use Google Listen and it collects and even syncs with Reader AND I can queue them up on a playlist and let them play. That is what I am looking for.
