1. Actually
"AtlanticWire: Obama Has Actually Raised More Money from Wall Street Than Romney"

2. Actually ...
... The differing reports arise from differing accounting methodologies. The source you cite looks only at direct campaign contributions. The source cited in the OP includes money raised by the DNC and RNC.

7. The poster has plenty of time to edit and correct the false title too
Wonder why the poster doesn't do that?

12. Excuse me...

... but I have contributed here for some time. Just because I post something that doesn't march in lockstep with the Obama-can-do-no-wrong crowd doesn't mean I have some ulterior motive or agenda. Yes, I have become increasingly critical of the Obama administration, AS HAVE MANY LOYAL DEMOCRATS. To date,I haven't seen enough evidence to be convinced that Obama stands with the 99%, and plenty that he actually stands for the 1%. You might disagree. You are entitled to your opinion, and I to mine.

13. And if you need to use lies to promote your agenda then so be it, eh?

That is what I figured.

17. I'm not promoting an "agenda"...
Edited on Tue Oct-25-11 07:18 PM by markpkessinger
... I am willing to look at the counter-argument here. But just because I dare to post something that may present President Obama in a less than 100% flattering light does not mean I'm pursuing an "agenda."

10. Puppeteer. Looking for Obama hating DUers to steer astray.
And have those people damage their own best interests. In short, a Nader in disguise.

16. You got that wrong, bud...
... You can do a Google search on my username, and you will find years of posts on many different sites that more than establish my credibility as a progressive. I was a strong supporter of President Obama's election. Unfortunately, I have become convinced that he's little more than a tool of Wall Street, and I think the evidence supports that contention more than it supports the opposite one.

As for looking to "steer astray" anyone, I start with the understanding that we are all reasonably intelligent adults who are capable of making up their own minds. You, apparently, think anyone who disagrees with you is somehow feeble-minded or something.

9. The title is the title used on the source article ...
... so while the source article might be incorrect, the title is not because it's a reference to that article.

6. No.
"The source cited in the OP includes money raised by the DNC and RNC."

It's disingenuous. The DNC and the Obama campaign cannot be conflated because the money raised is not for Obama's re-election.

Even you accepted WaPo's disingenuous frame, Obama and the DNC raised $2 million less than the GOP candidates and the RNC.

Overall, the Democratic Party, including the President, raised nearly $10 million less from the sector than the Republican Party, including the candidates.
