14. Someone Should Ask The President - Not If He Supports The Occupy Movement But...... |
|
they should ask him if he supports the police going in and busting it up. I think that would really put him on the spot. The more that the police use these tactics to evict the movement from wherever they are - the more attention it brings to the movement and the more people become sympathetic to it. This can only make the Occupy movement stronger. We need to keep it non-violent. Let the violence come from the other side.

Edited on Tue Oct-25-11 11:28 PM by ProgressiveProfessor
Admittedly, the large number of evictions etc in the last 24 hours does raise the hair on the back of my neck too, but I do not see how this would be better for anyone than piecemeal ones done over several days. This "approach" fuels conspiracy theories, which is the last thing a hidden coordinator would want.
Still looking for a coordinating group with a reason for a coordinated strike.
Still think that anything this big would have major OPSEC issues...

But one thing that is true is that elites react like this every time. And I am using this in the strict political science definition of economic and political elites.
It is like clockwork. When they get a violent response in return it's easier to build that us v them. So far they are not. This is truly stoopid. You want this to go away...you ignore it, fully.

55. Last week the same thing happened. Coordinated attacks |
|
on several cities at the same time. Since the NYPD and other police departments now work with Homeland Security and the CIA and the FBI, supposedly because of the great WOT, why would anyone doubt that this is coordinated at the Federal level? Why would that surprise anyone?
This is a national and global movement. What bigger threat is there to the Global Corporate Powers than a united, global movement of the people who are awakening from their slumber and no longer distracted by party politics or wars or the murder of African leaders or American citizens by their own government. All the old distractions have failed to stop this movement from spreading across the globe. Because the people have finally detected the root cause of almost all of the problems that are destroying countries and people all over the world?

Certainly elites are "coordinated" -- it is only citizens who have been
disunited!!
Elites/corporations are united in every way possible -- and our elected officials
do their bidding!!
Leaks do come -- but generally too late for anyone to react to --
This is costing all of the states money -- whee is it coming from if not from higher
taxes on wealthy if they want the protection? That would be one point.
But certainly Establishment is under attack by OWS -- the whole structure of it!!
All of the pieces that keep the game going!!

The team dd not know until the go order
The need to know chain was POTUS. Secdef, joint chief of staff, JSOC and unit commander. It was expanded to cabinet when underway and not everybody either.
Here every mayor involved, police chiefs f multiple agencies. AGs and governrs.
Yes, it s coordinated but the need to know group is far larger...why I expect leaks.

OWS are out in the streets because they understand that our government is too
corrupt any longer to function properly! We all know this!!
It's also announcing that capitalism is finished -- as well as the two party duopoly!!
That's the basic wisdom --
There might be some slight adjustments, but this reality isn't going to change!
