It's worth the look to see that he was assassinatied a year after he gave THIS SPEECH which is the aftermath to his "I Have a Dream Speech" which is his best known one.

This "Out of Vietnam" speech is the one that was the year before he was SHOT and KILLED.

This is the one that goes to the GUT of OBAMA PRESIDENCY. The "Forgotten Speech." The one that was the PROPHETIC SPEECH! He SAW FAR INTO THE FUTURE...and that a BLACK PRESIDENT would Preside over this must have been his AWE-FULL NIGHTMARE!

i spent yesterday and today celebrating his life with my partner's friend's kids,making gift bags with inspirational saying by Dr King on them for the 4th and 5th grades at his school.

It is so very very powerful, and a reminder of the sickening yet easily predictable ways in which the powers that be have sought to ,with much success, "sanitize" his memory and legacy to make it palatable for the mass consumption of a citizenry whom those powers need to keep in ignorance of this great great man's true message. He was a visionary and a revolutionary, and America was robbed of his gifts, and his gift to us of his intelligence, bravery, and utter decency, and we have, as a nation suffered from that loss ever since. Will watch more shortly. 43 years later, my heart is breaking all over again for who and what we lost, but it is also an inspirational reminder to never ever ever give up and give in to the forces of darkness, greed and hate.

Just like President Kennedy was shot and killed after his 'Out of Vietnam' order (via NSAM #263 referencing the McNamara-Taylor report).
