With a show of hands, how many people here know that Herman Cain
was Chairman of the Kansas City branch of the Federal Reserve back in the 80's. Why do people only think of him as the owner of a pizza chain?

16. He wasn't involved with the Fed until the 90's
"Cain became a member of the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City in 1992 and served as its chairman from January 1995 to August 1996, when he resigned to become active in national politics."

18. I knew that
but he's still an asshat.

Of course, as long as he remains politically alive, he is a useful asshat. I'm hoping that he and Mittens get to Tampa with about 40% of the delegates apiece, with Paul holding 10%, and the other also-rans hanging on to their 10%.

Wouldn't it be lovely to see the whoring that would go on to get to that first-ballot nomination? And wouldn't it be even better than that to see it all fail?

20. He was also a lobbyist for the National Restaurant Association. And at that gig he lobbied against

raising the minimum wage.

Herb Cain is scum. The more I find out about him the less respect I have for him.
