1. Yeah, shooting endangered species sounds like a Rethug thing.

2. i think Cain really does appeal to a certain Libertarian Type out there

these are people who don't like Democrats for obvious reasons but they don't like Republicans/Conservatives who focus so much on religion either. they also don't have a strong opinion on foreign policy too much.

they like guns and porn. but unlike the religious conservatives who hide their love for porn these types are open about it.

they are mostly selfish men who mostly don't want to pay taxes also.

but things like that Ad with the guy smoking appeals to these types.

notice Cain doesn't really talk social issues or religion that much. even when someone questions him about it he usually just says "we disagree and move on" and wants to talk about taxes and other economic issues.

guys who want to shoot their guns, drink alcohol , and watch porn and be left alone.

ON EDIT: Also, if you look at the bottom of the crossbow, there's a grey blob that doesn't match the rest of the photo background, making it a LIKELY Photoshop job...and a sloppy one.

But the main idea is that this freeper douche is thrilled by Cain posing next to a dead rhino, via reality or via Photoshop.

Look at the gray blob between the bottom of the weapon and the top of the rhino nose. Look at the neck where it joins the collar. Best of all, look at the hand holding the weapon stock! Herm, didja get a left-hand bleach job? If so, why?
