If this happens, I will seriously question if I want to live in a country where a guy will be called "Congressman Joe the Plumber".

Joe 'the Plumber' Wurzelbacher enters race for congress

1. Unless he legally changes his name to Joe the Plumber
Nobody will recognize Samuel Wurzeleffer on the ballot. Not to worry.

4. No one recognizes Cornelius Harvey McGillicuddy IV's real name
But he keeps getting reelected to Congress.

Many states will let you run for office under a name that you are known as even if it is not your real name.

...this won't end well for Joe the unlicensed plumber...but it will extend his time in the limelight...which is the real goal I am sure...

16. I like the idea of plumbers in Congress
Not this one, but I am certainly not gonna hold his occupation against him. Or his former occupation. But I don't see how a bunch of working people in Congress would be any worse than what we have now.
