yea. 2-3 inches so far. beautiful. and the ground still warm enough, the roads are only wet. makes for easy driving.

5. the heat broke in mid aug/sept, so though it still got hot, wasnt like the rest of summer
we had a first rain in middle of aug i believe and that sorta seemed to break the horrible of summer. but it is lovely having the snow. last year we barely got any snow. being raised in Az and Calif, i really enjoy the snow. but then, i dont have to do much driving.

9. It it's extremely dry in my FL yard these past two years
Yes, I do mean my yard. It can rain all over town and even down the block but never on my street corner. I've only had to cut what's left of the grass twice since July.

8. They say the weather around my neighborhood will be
either normal or abnormal. That's the kind of information we need here in this place where we -- my neighbors and me - are. And stuff.

explosion that nobody knows about yet, but everybody within three miles should evacuate RIGHT NOW! Right???

(Please, people, when posting about weather or unusual bird sightings or earthquakes you've felt or spaceships from Mars landing in your back yard --- please, please tell us where you are? The name of your state, at least, if you are paranoid about privacy.)

10. Snow in October is fairly common on the High Plains
I remember trick-or-treating a few times in the snow.

Maybe we'll have a wet winter. At least, I hope we will. :hi:

25. Yesterday we got our Santana winds..(but they were cold)
I don't think we even got them last year. When we first moved here we used to always have a week or so of really hot windy weather every fall (usually in early October)..

the winds yesterday were cold & damp, and today not a bit of a breeze.
