Edited on Thu Oct-27-11 05:29 PM by Mnemosyne
Attn; my name,

I am Chris Jeon, a NATO Soldier in peace keeping force in Libya, I am serving in the military of the 1st Armoured Division in Libya, as you know we are being attacked by insurgents everyday .We managed to move some funds belonging to Muammar Gaddafi in the tune of USD $45 Million Dollars in cash. We want to move this Fund out of Libya to your custody and you will keep our share for us until we return to meet with you. You are to take 30% of the total $45 Million Dollars and keep 70% for me and my colleagues. Please No strings attached, we plan on using private diplomatic courier to dispatch the Fund out of Libya, if you are interested on handling this deal with me, kindly do get back to my lawyer and send an e-mail to him wth the below address because i already told him about everthing and he will be assisting us with the neccesary documents for the movement of the money to you personally.

Mrs. Ayesha Vardag Esq.

I actually do know someone that sent money to a Nigerian Prince!

And I do not have the $65,285,714.29 he wants me to send either. Don't think the CU will front it to me.

3. Nope, no clue. The person I know that did it was convinced that God had sent him a miracle.
I think he said he sent around $10,000.

2. This scheme just doesn't go away
It's been around for decades in one form or another. I can't believe people still fall for it.

5. I 'won' trip to Mexico at age 12, around 1970, from a 'contest' I entered from TV Guide.
All I had to do was send them a $25 deposit and would get it back at the airport. I was furious when my mom wouldn't let me take my Nana on such a cool vacation.

to Africa sent his savings and is still convinced it will "work out". Actually it did work out for him, he ripped me off to the tune of close to ten thousand in items taken and destroyed.

I win things at drawings from fairs! One year won three of four drawings I entered, meat from a butcher, a cookbook and a free dinner at a local diner. Luckily all has been legit, so far.

9. Yes, hurry! Chop chop!
Ha! It's not like you can't tell just by their wording that it's a scam. MY wife's step son wanted to respond to an ad on Craigslist where they were willing to give away a 1987 SilverWing Honda motorcycle if you would just forward them the money to ship it to you. I told him to use his whole brain!
