Putting a new heart in DICK Cheney is like putting a new engine in a Model-T.
Sure you could do it, but why waste it on someting that's rusting out and due for the scrap heap soon?

1. 'Scuse me, but putting a new engine in a Model T isn't a waste,
They are fine collectible automobiles, and even a rusted out frame has value.

Cheney on the other hand, not so much.

3. Lucky for him he has great health insurance
and doesn't live as an uninsured in Arizona. Someone needs to tell me why he gets to live but those poor people waiting for transplants in Arizona are told that their lives aren't worth the cost to the state.

4. More like putting a new engine in a cheese souffle
The Model T at least originally had an engine.

6. Do you believe anyone 69 years old should be granted a transplant?
A person that age may easily have 20 years of life left. What medical procedures should we deny the aged? Should we stop treating people at a certain age altogether?

7. Actually, the analogy there is not apt
After all, the Model T once had an engine.

8. I am no fan of Richard Cheney,
but your comment is extremely ageist. And it will would not be a new heart by any stretch. It would not even
be a reconditioned heart. It would be a quite used model.

10. I say keep Cheney alive as long as there's still hope that he'll be held accountable for his crimes.
If and when he dies from a medical problem, it'll be a great tragedy that he lived out his life without facing the justice he deserved.

11. The snarlin' old Dick is fifteen years my senior, but could pass for my grandfather.
Just goes to show you - power and money aside - the Devil deals in bad faith. There's always a catch and only fictional characters beat him at his own game.

While I don't believe in the Devil, I do believe there was a trade.
