"I'm dreaming of a White Pumpkin"
"I'm dreaming of a white pumpkin
just like the ones I never knew.
Where the tree limbs shatter
and children chatter
say-ing "Trick or Treat!" to you..,

Oh,"I'm dreaming of a white pumpkin...

---------

C'mon everybody! Sing along with me in honor
of it snowing 3 days before Halloween! Here on
Tesha's Hill, we usually spend four or five weekends
picking up fallen leaves and still have plenty of time
to get everything cleaned up ahead of the first snow,
but this year, we've only spent one weekend so far
and lots of the trees still *HAVE* their leaves!

Heck, Mr. Tesha and I haven't even had a chance
to set up our annual "when will it snow?" familial
pool, let alone squabble about whether those ten fallen
flakes constitute snow and we already have an inch-
and-a-half of frozen slush laying around!

No, there's no climate change, none whatsoever!

C'mon everybody -- let's sing!

Tesha

1. Flakes in the air for the first time of the season is great...
White freezy skid slush all over the roads...not so much.

Be careful, and remember shov'lers, lift with your legs not with your backs!

4. It's NH; we've had flakes "on the air" for months now!
Especially on the Ron Paul TV adverts.

5. Hmmm, wondering, do those flakes need shoveling, too? n/t

3. Rats! I can't find a photo of the 1991 Halloween Blizzard that will post.

I remember the editorial page the following spring that showed trick'o treaters thawing in the front lawns.

7. Tonight: 8-12 inches!
We'll almost-surely have a White Halloween!

I guess that calls for a change of decorations!

8. And at least one night sans electricity!
We'll see how long AT&T's batteries last. (Or maybe the cell
site still has power?)

9. It's going to be quite a while without power.
After we dug out, we took a ride around our area;
a whole bunch of the three-phase feeders in and
out of our area have segments torn down and where
they're not outright torn down, there are literally dozens
of trees or branches laying on the 13KV primary wires.

It's gonna be a long, long restoration process for our
local utility.
