Bracelets Conceal Pipe

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange County school administrators are worried about a new bracelet that students may be using to conceal drug paraphernalia used to smoke marijuana.

The district sent administrators and principals a letter along with pictures of the suspicious bracelets. They look like any other bracelets, but when Local 6 showed parents what was inside, they were stunned.

"This is scary because this is promoting drugs even earlier on," said Kathy Barbay, who has been teaching 21 years and has never seen anything like the bracelets.

Even her daughter, Lauren, who is a senior in high school, was amazed at the clever new way to conceal drug equipment.

4. WAY too wasteful
Unless you run across some $40/Z columbian, a joint is too inefficient.

2. We had to steal thistle tubes and bend them with a bunsen burner to make pipes in high school
Or the old coke can, or tinfoil, or plumbing fittings, etc.

5. Good grief!
"Some" girls in my school used the wrappers from tampons as rolling papers. Not that I condone that practice, but....

:hippie:

10. With the potency of today's stuff
I could never smoke a joint of the prescription type.
I tried the one you have and it burns a little hot but its OK.

The one I have shows no holes in it, they cost seven bucks and
I never lose my keys.

11. IF i were to use it as anything but a keychain, which i obviously do not, it would be for very
quick discreet puffs.

i've seen the one you have for around $10 - i like it and now must have one based on your review!

9. Now, that's an ugly-ass bracelet.
I don't see it catching on with high schoolers, somehow.
