'GOP is the new black' claim Texas billboards
Conservative group Raging Elephants delivered what they call "a gut shot to socialists" when they unveiled three new billboards in Austin, Texas touting that the "GOP is the new black."

The ads were released to encourage more black voters to embrace the Republican party. Raging Elephants contends that many African-Americans share conservative viewpoints on a number of social issues such as abortion and marriage and should vote that way.

Raging Elephants is linked to conservative activist Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani, who recently said that Democrats are the party of the Klu Klux Klan. His image is prominent on two of the four ads, which the group hopes will "stir up a storm on the plantation."

3. Unfortunately appealing to dumb people works far too frequently for them.
They certainly know how to distract people with social issues while they rob them blind.

9. Black what? Black hearts? Black souls?
If they had hearts or souls, they certainly would be black.

But that's probably not what they mean.

11. "stir up a storm on the plantation." WTF is that supposed to mean? Did they just compare the

Democratic party to a slave plantation? I bet those people on that billboard who posed for stock photos will be pissed when they find out what their pictures are being used for.

ended a long time ago. Yeah, there were a few hold outs like Zell Miller but judging a party by some of its members 60 years ago is pretty ridiculous. The Democrats who hated the civil rights movement switched their party affiliation to Republican.

on edit: The comments are interesting - particularly the one that comment on the attire of the people in the ad. The guys are in suits and the women are dressed like they are going clubbing. It was pointed out that the ad looked more like it was for some Gentlemen's Club.
