One more thing on OWS.
Remember....this is not just San Francisco, or Oackland or Nashville.

It is Toronto, they did get raided...

It is Tijuana, they got evicted...

It is Auckland and Sidney

It is Tokyo and London....

It is a response to the multiplicity of crisis that affect us globally, ranging from climate change, to very local issues. So remember, this is not just the US and the response so far...has been quite predictable. I'd say the masters of the universe are getting nervous...if a few million get united against them, let alone billions...there is nowhere in the world to hide.

3. IT IS THE PEOPLE'S REBELLION!!
There is no where to run, the people have to stand up and exercise their power in a way that sends a powerful message. We settled the world by running from tyrany, there is no where to run. The US has unleashed corporate greed and lust for power across the world. It is time the people took the power back from the HUSTLERS AND ROBBER BARONS and either put them in jail or on the finge to lessen the harm they still have in them.

4. ... and listening to a UK radio stream ...
... it was called an "anti capitalist protest" by the reporter, and the local authority they interviewed said something to the effect that "they can't just come and set up and protest any old thing they'd like ..."

They can't? Well, they have. So now what?

5. They're nervous alright. As they should be. They have awoken a sleeping giant: WE THE PEOPLE.
They can't stop it now. They're nervous.

7. Even those normally asleep have to be waking up now when they think
about how much they have been ripped-off by "the system," and that's millions and millions upon millions. Best thing, it's "we the people," not just one party or ideology, this cuts across everything, and there's a lot of commonality.

6. You can't tell me that there isn't an underlying commonality that has brought this to bear
Isn't this all predicted by peak oil and the end of unlimited growth?

9. Some of us have been predicting this for years
And this is one of those years.

1968. More like 1848...but it is one of those years.

10. If that is the case, does fixing income inequality fix the growth problem?

11. Perhaps depends how it's done

And what policies are adopted. Single payor will not mean growth in the private health care sector, a core demand in the us. But increasing federal spending in infrastructure and rebuilding our factory system will medium to long term.

15. So true and so powerful "there is nowhere in the world to hide" when millions or billions unite for
the common good. Thanks again Nadin.
