My moment of pride about Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
In 1969, the book "My Life with Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr." by his widow, Coretta Scott King, came out.
It was a best seller.

I did a book report on it in 9th grade English class.

When I sat down some little rectum called me a "N%%%%%-lover".

I was living in an all white town with an all white school district, due to red-lining. My high school had 3500 kids in four grades and one black kid whose daddy was the janitor at the bank. This is in a large suburb of 60,000 people.

They did not desegregate until the late 70s. I didn't know why we had no black people until my senior government teacher explained that if a black family looked at a house, the real estate agent would triple the asking price.

Then there was the little twit who insulted me and I called her "white trash". Whereupon she proceeded to call me "N----- Trash".

:wtf:

I am about as light pink as people get. I'm of British and Scots-Irish descent. What a complete idiot.
