11. I watched that prison video, and I heard loud noises while the things were being deployed.

I was wondering if they had some sort of explosive capacity to them, or if that was a separate thing, and those were just big round rubber marbles that hurt like hell. The bruising is pretty profound on those, judging by the photo--I'd say those pack more of a punch than the "bean bags" (which are a lot tighter and meaner than their name might suggest).

13. I think the bruising is due to the fact he was near point blank range.

Olsen's body wasn't more than about 10 or maybe 13 feet from the police line according to video taken that night. A rubber bullet fired from that distance would be pretty damaging.
