Monday night is the night Occupy Fresno needs your support.

Spend the night if you can. The use permit for Occupy Fresno will end at midnight Monday night, 10/31. Occupy Fresno intends to remain in Courthouse Park to exercise the constitutional right of freedom of speech and assembly.

If you can’t spend the night, come to the General Assembly which starts at 6:00 PM or anytime after.

The Occupy movement is one of the most exciting things to happen in a long time!

Support Occupy Fresno if you agree with its message that the greed and corruption of the wealthiest 1% is the cause of much of the suffering of the 99%. The movement has spread across the globe and it has been in Fresno for the last 3 weeks. Now it needs your support.

Fresno's unemployment is over 17%.
1/2 the people in Fresno don't won their own home
there are over 25,000 homeless in the Fresno metro area of 500,000.
30 years of neo-cons.Christian Mayors.

2. How many of the Cops have Grandparents or Great-grandparents
who were kicked out in the same way in the '30s?

3. They were from "Grapes of Wrath"
Many of the whites in Fresno are from immigrants from OK, TX, AR MS.. from the 30s. They were the farm workers who lived in tents.

They know about sheriff deputies and vigilantes telling them to move long and probably suffered from people telling them to tear down their tents.

Sadly their grand children and great grand children are some of the "christian" conservatives in fresno who are now abusing the poor.

Horrible. She must think that people can just disappear until you can find them housing. STupid.

140 vouchers.. she thinks only 250 people are being displaced by destroying the encampments.. try 3000

She is so out of touch.

Contact Mayor Ashley Swearengin at 559-621-8000
