Cops: Yorkies Chase Burglar From Home


SOUTH DAYTONA, Fla. -- Police say two teacup Yorkshire terriers chased a burglar out of a home after he stole more than $10,000 worth of jewelry.

South Daytona police say Brenda Bofamy called to report the burglary at 125 Nautical Drive around 10:45 Monday morning.

Bofamy said he dogs were chasing the man who burglarized her home, police said.

Police said responding officers saw Kenneth Jones running from the home, before going behind a building and taking off his shirt.
