"I'm not going to vote for it because the people who sent me to Madison are the ones who should decide whether I ought to be recalled or not," Schultz said.
His opposition means it's unlikely the GOP has the votes to pass the bill, which was introduced by Sen. Mary Lazich, R- New Berlin, on Friday and already was scheduled for a public hearing Monday afternoon. The bill is scheduled for a committee vote on Tuesday morning"

2. This underscores just what a BFD it was to recall two Republican State Senators...
... too many folks discounted the results of the recall when we "failed to flip the Senate". However, wins by Jess King and Jennifer Schilling were monumental and this is one great example of why.

3. Didn't stop him from voting for Voter ID, etc.
Didn't stop him from voting for Voter ID, etc.

Funny how he's a bit more careful now that he's actually eligible for recall. If he was really concerned with the will of the electorate, he ought to have opposed the seriously-disenfranchising voter ID law.

6. I think the voter ID was before the recall votes
and he likely thought the recalls wouldn't matter. Ha, showed him.
