Rick Perry has been taking uppers
I just watched the abridged version of Rick Perry's Friday night speech in New Hampshire. I tried to watch the full version the other day, but only managed about one minute.

Watching Rick's performance, he was on uppers. No doubt in my mind. Not drunk. Uppers.

You can watch here... http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/26315908/ns/msnbc_tv-rachel_maddow_show/#45112026

4. If he was bipolar it would have come up in other speeches
over the past 10 years. Pundits from texas say he hasn't been acting like this before.

13. He's stupid, not bipolar -
but I wouldn't rule out painkiller abuse. Or other substances ... Back when I was in the corporate world I was amazed at how many folks got high regularly - not just on the weekend. There are definitely buyers for all those drugs coming over the borders.

20. People who are not bipolar can become manic. Happens to me

whenever I go too long without sleep, or too long w/o eating. Otherwise my mood is rather stable.
Same is true for others in my family

5. He acted like a meth or speed) user that mixed
his drug with something like citalopram an antidepressant.

I'm sure whatever he was on was legal from this doctor. I wish he had taken acid instead
but that's not legal......lol

Anyone remember Robert Redford in the movie 'the candidate?

9. He is clearly hiding latent homosexual tendencies
Disclaimer: I am NOT anti-gay, I'm anti-"Republicans who refuse to admit they're gay."

My gaydar was flying off the charts when I saw that video. Perry wasn't just hyper, he was very effeminate, as some types of gay men are. Whatever he was on, it brought down his "I'm a rugged Texan, hyuk-hyuk" facade and revealed the real Rick Perry.

Maybe he wouldn't be so hostile, if he would just be true to himself about who he is. Gays and lesbians who are "out" are the true heroes, something Perry has yet to learn.

17. Never mind the all important question...
of whether he would be prepared to handle that phone call at 3 AM...

He would be the one making it.

To all his buddies...ex girlfriends...people under the letter "S" in the DC phone book...and Katie Perry, whom he will try to convince is his long-lost twin sister, separated at birth.

22. He was clearly on something. Reminded me of a former coworker's behavior when he would take a stiff
dose of pain medication for his chronic back condition. My hunch is they wanted to loosen him up a bit, but either got the dosage too high or he mixed it with an alcoholic beverage.
