1. He's talking about them...
It must be frustrating not to be able to talk back. If there was a settlement, there is surely an NDA... if he broke his end of said NDA, they might want to speak out as well. I say they are meeting with lawyers! I sure as hell would be... but then, I wouldn't have settled... nor would I have signed an NDA.

3. if Cain breaks his side of the non-disclosure, it frees them to go public
and by him trashing them in the media, it's starting to look like he'll push one or both of them over the edge right onto CNN. Plus it was an internal agreement with the National Restaurant Association and not in some court of law.

4. He did not mention their name, but gave enough details for the person to be identified...
If he broke the NDA, he's screwed, and I hope he did.

5. Hopefully this story goes away for awhile...
We WANT Herman Cain to be their nominee. That would be the greatest gift the baggers' could ever give us. Cain is a clown and would have no chance to win a general election. He'd lose in a landslide of epic proportions even if the economy stayed just as bad as it is right now. He is a joke candidate, and the Republican grass roots are rallying around him mostly to poke their fingers in the eye of the GOP establishment. A lot of the right wing wackadoodles are willing to commit electoral suicide to make a point - they did it in Delaware and Nevada and now they are doing it nationwide. As far as I am concerned, the best thing would be for the story to fade for awhile. We don't want anything to actually kill Cain's campaign yet. If Herman wins the nomination he will say and do so many stupid things and act so unpresidential that he could even help us win the House back.

7. Well, I guess Karl is right on this one...
Cain is a giant joke and every serious political analyst both left and right knows that. If Cain wins the nomination, President Obama may as well fire up his victory cigar now because there is zero chance Herman is going to beat him. Cain was using this campaign to sell a book, I am 100% sure he never thought he would be leading in any polls.

If Cain looks like he could actually start winning primaries, every major GOP strategist and insider is going to do everything they can to stop him because they know it would just mean President Obama coasts to a second term without even trying - and it could hurt the Republicans down ballot so badly that they might lose the House and blow a huge opportunity to take the Senate.

8. If they signed nondisclosure agreements, they aren't talking. Their surrogates might be, though. nt

9. Thanks to everyone that replied. I looks like one of the victims wants to talk.
I would like to see Cain as the GOP nominee. I also think it was a GOP operative, like KKKarl Rove that uncovered the dirt and gave it to politico. He has been known to do dirty tricks and has no ethical compunction as to who it hurts.

10. it sounds like one of them is trying to get out of the non-disclosure agreement

so it would seem that at least one of them is speaking to her lawyer
