But that's not the reality, it hasn't even been close to reality for decades. In the service based economy there are a few other good paying jobs, Dr., health care worker (if you had to pay large amounts for your education) but these occupations are also being co-opted by the "for-profit" insurance system. We have seen about a 600% increase in medical costs in the last 3-5 years and this extra money is going directly to the for-profit insurance companies. His wife was a exec vp at MAJOR tech company which you have definitely heard of. He had a second house in the Hamptons and bought an apartment building (yes, the entire building) in Greenwich Village so his son could live there. The son, living in New York, still wanted to vote in Ohio because it was a swing state so he rented an apartment (which he never even visited) just so he could cast 1 vote. How about going into a burning building and trying to breathe life back into a dead baby?
