Rick Scott, Marco Rubio not attending this weekend’s Florida Tea Party Convention (jilting the base)
Whatsa matter, Mr. Scott and Mr. Rubio?

You courted the Tea Party for the past two years with your (conniving) little heartstrings to ride their support into power!

And now, you are dumping the hard-working Tea Party like week-old trash, after all they did to propel you two to power?

FOR SHAME!

Scott, Rubio not attending this weekend’s Florida Tea Party Convention

By Ashley Lopez
October 31, 2011

Representatives from the offices of Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., and Gov. Rick Scott report that neither will be attending the Florida Tea Party Convention scheduled for this weekend, despite their inclusion on the event’s agenda.
Both are included as speakers on the current convention agenda, along with a slew of right-wing activists and speakers.

.....

The event will feature speakers such as former Christian Coalition director Ralph Reed, anti-Islam blogger Pam Geller and G. Edward Griffin. Griffin is an anti-Federal Reserve, anti-United Nations and anti-communist conspiracy theorist who describes himself as a “life member” of the John Birch Society — a historically infamous anti-communist group.

Geller is best known for her blog Atlas Shrugs, which has been described by The New York Times as a “site that attacks Islam with a rhetoric venomous enough that PayPal at one point branded it a hate site.”

.....

The Tea Party Convention will take place at the Volusia County Ocean Center Nov. 4-6. According to the convention’s website, sponsors of the event include Freedom Works, the Heritage Foundation, Americans for Prosperity, Craig Miller’s U.S. Senate Campaign and the Oath Keepers.

Rick Scott

To those of the Tea Party: How is THAT for loyalty to your cause? You have been used and now tossed aside because your usefulness is of no more value to Marco Rubio and Rick Scott.

That ought to make a lot of you very angry.

1. Annnnndddd, they are now both toast. Lotsa teapers down here and
they don't take to this snub kindly. My building has many Cubans from Miami here and I've become friendly with many. They told me Rubio was done. I liked that, they don't like being exploited either. Many came over during the actual Batista fall, Castro takeover and horror tales to tell. They know I like politics and have no problem letting me know their thoughts.

4. The useful idiots have served their purpose
Now they are as worthless to them as dog shit on the underside of their Gucci loafers - and just as easily discarded, utterly without regard. Like being used, teabaggers? You'd do well to learn from the fate of the brownshirts on the Night of the Long Knives, which is the logical next step if you succeed in installing even more odious creatures in high office. Think these pustules are going to share power with the likes of you? If this brush-off doesn't tell ya something, I don't know what the hell will!
