"I reference this lady's height," Cain said.
"And I was standing near her and I did this , saying 'you're the same height as my wife.'"

It could be that what he's trying to explain away here is how his hand,
as he raised it, happened to contact the woman who he was "standing near".

In the HLN interview, he also remembered the same woman made
a couple other claims, which he called "ridiculous." He couldn't
remember any specifics about the woman's claims, but he did remember,
emphatically, that those claims were "ridiculous."

Humans lying are fascinating in what they reveal
as they try to conceal.

6. I had the same thought. He just can't shut up.
And every word keeps making it worse. Hell, he could have simmered down this story the first day by saying "Yes, there were a couple of allegations made. They weren't true, but the group gave them a severance deal to avoid a more expensive lawsuit."

Instead, it's like he's playing an over the top parody of a guy caught in a lie, and he can't stop talking about it. How many stories are we up to now? Five? Six?

2. I saw a clip yesterday where Cain was talking about raising his hand to his chin ...
it didn't make any sense to me.
And the reporter didn't ask him what that had anything to do with anything - at least I didn't hear him be asked.

3. It's like the guy who admitted to stealing an old rope.
Huh? So what? Big deal.

He failed to mention that it was attached to a horse.

4. I would imagine that the gesture also included suggestions of pushing her to her knees
that was my initial thought when I saw this crazy asshole making those gestures yesterday.

8. It could have included touching her head.
Comparing heights, he would put his hand on her head
and draw it back to his chin, or vice versa. Or at least
that would explain his apparently nonsensical claim that
the harassment charge was nothing but his comparing the woman's
height to his wife's. He's trying to explain away some
touching without admitting there was any touching.

I mean, Cain's probably used to his wife's height when she's on her knees.

11. "And then she said would you like to fondle my breasts, so I did. That's all that happened."

This all happened on September 9, 1999.
And was the inspiration of my 9-9-9 plan.
Now that I look back on it, I should thank that woman.
