Huntsman will be the GOP nominee. |
|
I know it seems silly now, but mark my words. Permalink if you wish.

1. The problem with Huntsman as I see it though, he is to close to centre for |
|
Conservatives to vote for him. He actually seems to be the most sane of all the idiots on the right.

3. But he has a fatal flaw...they all do. To their extreme right wing base |
|
Edited on Tue Nov-01-11 09:33 PM by DisgustipatedinCA
Huntsman's problem is that he is LDS, same as Mitt. Cain has woman problems and skin color problems. Bachmann, Perry, and Santorum are too stupid for the General. Time to give gasbag Newt another chance, I guess.
(edited to get rid of an exclamation point I didn't mean to type).

15. Actually that's not his biggest flaw. |
|
Imagine Huntsman as the repug candidate, at the first debate with President Obama, right before the questions start, Obama takes a moment to praise Huntsman for the great job Huntsman did as Obama's ambassador to China, and mentions how fluent he is in Chinese. The repug base collectively shits their pants.

10. Sorry for the double post btw. I think this because... |
|
He is somewhat sane. And I think this carnival is going to come down to Huntsman v. Romney, and I know one of them was the inspiration for Obamacare in the past.

6. I think he is the most reasonable choice, therefore he can't possibly win |
|
I think he is just there to come clean about his religion (and Mitt's) at just the right time so as to torpedo Romney's support.
It seems as if he isn't even paying attention to his own campaign. It is as if he isn't even really running. I don't see him trying to cash in on it either since no conservatives are going to pay to hear his centrist views.

11. In 2016 I bet you are right, but I think there is too much crazy left in the Republican tank |
|
to run out in time for Huntsman to win the nomination this time around. Then again I wouldn't have called Cain or Bachmann as the frontrunner either so you could be right.

14. Huntsman might move in the polls if he decides to start up his machine |
|
Assuming he's assembled a machine.
Timing is everything.
