Seven protesters out in 31 degree weather (15 degrees with wind chill) and the official Occupy Anchorage dog (Malemute? Husky?) are out on the sidewalk. Two police officers came by and said that they would be cited, and gave them an hour to contact their legal person. The seven people agreed that they would be arrested, if necessary.
When the police returned and they said they would wait another day to clarify city code (which they read out over the live stream and I believe did NOT allow their eviction from even the park, not just the sidewalk).
One of the occupiers, Josh, said he was one of those who went to NYC to give cold weather advice.
